Civic service Sunday 17th April at 3:00pm

We are delighted to be hosting this year's Civic Service, when we can remember all those who hold public office in our town and hold them in our prayers.

It will also give us the opportunity to give thanks for all the hard work that Pam Jones has done as our town Mayor.

We remember the long and rich heritage that this church has in local politics and how a number of our church members have held the office of Town Mayor, or served on the Town Council or on the East-Hants District Council.

All the Young Ventures groups have now completed their expeditions and were fortunate to have good weather for them. It was perhaps too good for the group of 12 year olds that went out on 30th June in temperatures not far off 30C! For the two Yr.7 groups these were their first unaccompanied expeditions meeting supervisors at several points along the way. They've all survived (well done!)...
