We've started our second year of Young Ventures after the success of last year's courses!
There are now nine young people attending our Year 7 "Venturers" group, and a further four in the Year 8 "Navigators" — so the church foyer is rather busy on Wednesday evenings, with lots of learning about maps and navigation, about safety and camping, about the countryside and first aid. It won't be long before we get out-of-doors . . . .

All the Young Ventures groups have now completed their expeditions and were fortunate to have good weather for them. It was perhaps too good for the group of 12 year olds that went out on 30th June in temperatures not far off 30C! For the two Yr.7 groups these were their first unaccompanied expeditions meeting supervisors at several points along the way. They've all survived (well done!)...
