James Merrell, Alton's local Police Community Support Officer was the speaker at our June meeting. James talked about his role in the town and offered useful advice on keeping safe and avoiding scams.

Afterwards he joined us for tea and cakes and spoke to everyone individually. It was a most enjoyable and interesting afternoon.

The Annual Harvest Festival Service, led by Rev Rachel Sturt, Anna Chaplain, for the Alton All Saints Hard of Hearing group, once again attracted a good congregation.
