Film Night ABs

The Anchor boys have been very busy. They hosted a film night to which the Girls' Brigade Explorers were invited and 28 children enjoyed Disney's Big Hero 6, with sweets and ice cream served in the interval. Our thanks must go to Jacob who saved the day and rushed down to give Nancy a quick lesson in how everything worked when our arrangements for a projectionist fell through.
We also had a trip to Alice Holt Forest planned, but when we arrived there we found there had been a water leak, so it was shut. After a quick phone call to Mr. Allan it was decided we would go to Kingsley, where the Junior Section met us, and much fun was had by all in a game of football. The zip wire proved popular and even the staff went on.
We still have a joint circus skills workshop with the Girl's Brigade, Sports Day and an outing to Southsea to look forward to before the summer break.
If you know of any boys in year 1 or above that would like to join us please let me know.

Dear Friends,I will never forget the day when, as chaplain in the hospital, a young couple came into the chapel. I naturally asked how they were and if I could be of help in any way. They told the story of when they had sat alone in the hospital chapel and tried to ask God for help. They had returned simply to say thank you to God for the support they had received. 'We don't know how to...
