Alton Webteam
It felt like summer as eight humans and four dogs set off from the Hawley Inn. The sun shone and the temperature rose to the low 20's C. The group followed a beautiful route through woodland, fields and short stretches of quiet lanes. There was happy chat and much admiring of views and perfect walking weather. After 4 1/2 miles the walkers found themselves back at the start and were soon joined by five more friends for the finale to the event; a delicious meal in the pub. Let's hope there'll be another walk in the spring!
