On Bronze Practice Expedition near Bignor Hill on the South Downs
Seven of our young people enjoyed their first ever expedition — a practice for their DofE Bronze in September — in beautiful weather. Their campsite was remote, high in the Sussex Downs and three miles from the nearest road, but they enjoyed the luxury of hot showers in the adjoining barn!
DofE is offered to anyone aged 14+. It's a great programme, with self-selected volunteering, skill and physical aspects, and the extra excitement of an expedition thrown in! If you know of anyone who might be interested, ask them to give me a call.
