We have just celebrated the life of Denis Williams at the recent thanksgiving service and we want to uphold the family in our prayers, especially his daughter Jennifer Hall, as she cares for her husband who is now home from hospital after a three months' stay. We think, too, of Sarah Downie's family as they plan for her service of thanksgiving on 1st March and assure them of our love. We continue to remember Thelma Kember and Kath Shipley who are struggling with health issues.
We can rejoice as Bob Weighton's celebrates his 109th birthday on 29th March and thank him for all his contributions to our church life. It's lovely that Caroline and family are over from America to help Mum, Olive Wheeler celebrate her birthday — though not as many candles as Bob!
