Especially for Children at Alton Methodist

Home » News » Children's activities on Sunday mornings

Every Sunday morning we aim to have something to catch the interest of our children at the 10.45am or 10.00am service. Our Lighthouse groups, which meet most Sundays, are for children from 4 years old to about 11, and use the same resource material as our partner churches in GAP.
On the first Sunday of most months we have 'All Age' worship, when the whole service is designed to interest both children and adults. There are some exceptions for special services — just to catch you out! In September the All Age Worship service will be on the 10th, as on the 3rd the Revd Philip Simpkins will be leading his first 'Section Service' for Alton, Hale and Rowledge congregations together. And in October we will have an All Age service as usual on 1st but also on 15th when we will be welcoming the Boys' and Girls' Brigade companies for their annual Enrolment service.
A crèche is available for younger children and babies every Sunday at the 10.45/10.00am service.
