Now that Valentine's day is passed — and I have six daffodils and masses of snowdrops out — it must also be time for the "Lent Lunches in Chawton"! Each week there is a simple lunch somewhere in the village and all the donations are given to the charity chosen by the host.
My lunch is on Saturday 8th April, any time between 12 and 2pm and everyone is most welcome — it is always a happy occasion and some even get a proper seat!! My chosen charity is "Action for Children", so do come support this worthy cause.
Offers of help would be greatly appreciated!!
