Karen Booker: May 2015
Sunday 21 June's Town Evening Service
This will be an opportunity to be part of a town event being held at St Lawrence Church to start Alton's Jane Austen Week. It will be a choral evensong, with the choir in Regency costume, and the congregation encouraged to dress up too!
Alton's new mayor is Pam Jones, so this is an opportunity to show our support to Pam in her newly appointed role. Consequently there will be no service at AMC on this evening and no Own Arrangement in June — instead please do join the other Christian worshippers within GAP at St Lawrence.
