On the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I, our BB band proudly led the town parade from the Market Square to the memorial on Crown Hill. And that evening, having attended the special service in St Lawrence Church, our buglers played "Last Post" in the dark churchyard, at exactly 6.55pm — the same time as it was being played in hundreds of similar "Battle's Over" celebrations around the nation.
