As a church we seek to:
As is so often the case, it is the poets, musicians and hymn writers that can far more eloquently sum up our hope and ideals, our dreams and visions. For me the new hymn written by Marty Haugen, "Let us build a house where love can dwell" (Singing the Faith 409) concisely sums up what with God's help, we seek to be:
“Let us build a house where hands will reach beyond the wood and stone,
To heal and strengthen, serve and teach, and love the Word they've known.
Here the outcast and the stranger bear the image of God's face,
Let us bring an end to fear and danger:
All are welcome, all are welcome, all are welcome in this place.
Let us build a house where all are named, their songs and visions heard
And loved and treasured, taught and claimed as words within the Word.
Built of tears and cries and laughter, prayers of faith and songs of grace.
Let this house proclaim from floor to rafter:
All are welcome, all are welcome, all are welcome in this place.”
We have two morning services on a Sunday at 9:15am (traditional) and 10:45am (more contemporary) with coffee being served between the two from (10:00am — 10:40am). Full details of our services can be found within these pages. Please note that on the last Sunday of each month and throughout August, there is only one morning service at 10:00am. We also have an evening service at 6:30pm.
So, having found us on-line, why not come and visit us in person? A warm welcome awaits you, for all are welcome in this place!
