BOYS' BRIGADE CELEBRATES!

On 27th January 1984, five Boys turned up at the church to find out what this new BB thing might be. And the rest, as they say, is history!

40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

We've now reached our Ruby Anniversary, and will be marking this milestone in January 2024.
We hope that former members and leaders will join us in the celebrations!
For our present members, we'll be having a special evening on Friday 26th January, with fun activities for Boys of all ages, 6 to 17, and of course some food, including a 40th birthday cake.

Sunday 28th January

This is when we hope you'll be able to join the celebrations.
There's a special Church Service here at 10 o'clock, and our members will be present in uniform. (We've decided not to parade to church, as the weather isn't likely to be suitable for marching at this time of year.) We look forward to seeing many ex-members and supporters – do come if you can.
After the service, there will be refreshments, and an opportunity to catch up with old friends and to look at pictures and photo albums covering the Company's 40 years.
At midday, lunch will be served. It will deliberately be done in true "summer camp" style – but we won't need "spud bashing" or duty squad to wash up! After lunch, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm there will be a further "drop-in" session when more images and videos will be on display, and no doubt more stories and anecdotes shared.
